Chicago Bus Trip!
SAS hosted a bus trip to Chicago on Friday, June 7, 2019! Staff spent the day in Chicago shopping, eating, people watching and touring the area. SAS planned the event as a way to promote bonding across the departments and to thank the staff for all of their hard work during the year.

16 Staff members came together to learn how to crochet! Thank you to our A&L instructors, Kelly Brown, LinDa Grams, Melody Kessler, and Cheron Price.

50 Staff members attended our Spring Break workshop where we learned how to make delicious (and healthy!) foods with Steve from Victorian Pantry!

Winter Workshop: Holistic Wellness
De-stress your mind, body, and spirit!
50 staff members attended our winter workshop centered around holistic wellness in Jenkins-Nanovic Hall. The workshop included Tai Chi instruction by Jason McLachlan and Fu-Chih Hsu, an essential oils demonstration by Sarah Young, and a special gratitude activity that included writing out thank you notes to our fellow staff members. Lunch was catered by Victorian Pantry.

Fall Break Event: Craft Workshop
Create fall decorations, sip on hot chocolate and snack on kettle corn!
Over 50 staff members joined us in Riley Hall for a morning of Halloween crafts! Guests painted pumpkins and/or chose from 3 different Halloween themed wooden cut-outs to paint. While crafting, the staff enjoyed the hot chocolate bar, hot apple cider, and kettle corn to snack on before a lunch catered by Au Bon Pain.
